Read Time
I get a lot of questions about posting on LinkedIn and how best to maximise your engagement. One of the biggest of these questions is: “When is the best time to post on LinkedIn?”
Sprout Social have intrigued me with their post saying what the best times are to post on various social media channels, including LinkedIn.
However, as easy as it might seem to use this unilateral approach to posting on LinkedIn, I don’t think it’s that simple. One size does not fit all. What works for some will NOT work for others!
How do we find out when is best for us to post? We test, test, test.
The more you post, the better you will become at answering your own question.
For example, look at me. I often find that my audience will react more to posts I share on Tuesday and Thursday in the early morning. Still, this doesn’t mean I will ONLY post at those times. Sometimes, I might post something at the weekend that will attract some attention. One of my posts, aimed at CEOs, had me engaging on Sunday night into the late hours!
It depends on what type of viewers you’re targeting. We all have our own target audience, and I will normally change the time of my post according to mine. Best course of action is to tune into your audience and what resonates with them.
What about you? What times do you find are best for you and your audience? Let me know over on LinkedIn.
Also wondering how often you should post on LinkedIn? Find out my thoughts in my other post.
